Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a high volume restaurant preferred
  • must meet any state, county or municipal regulation pertaining to health risk concerns about food handling
  • must have sufficient mobility to move and or operate in work area
  • must be able to lift and carry food trays weighing up to 25lbs

Job Duties

  • Greet all customers, apply suggestive selling techniques, record orders, ensure prompt placement of orders, follow up to ensure guest satisfaction, remove unneeded dishes and utensils
  • prepare appetizers, desserts and beverages for customers
  • greet and seat customers in the order in which they arrive and introduce feature of the day
  • collect payment from customers in accordance with established cash handling procedures
  • clear remaining items from tables, clean and preset tables
  • perform cleaning and stocking duties as assigned
  • periodically assist other service personnel
  • resolve guest complaints and notify management of any complaints received
