Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • ability to handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to operate point-of-sale (POS) systems and handle cash and credit transactions
  • ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • TABC certification for serving alcohol
  • Texas Food Handlers Certification
  • ability to stand for prolonged periods, move at a rapid pace, bend, twist, and lift products weighing up to 35 pounds

Job Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • provide information about the menu, specials, and make recommendations accordingly
  • take accurate food and drink orders from guests, ensuring that special requests and dietary/allergy restrictions are communicated to the kitchen
  • serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner
  • ensure that orders are delivered accurately and meet the restaurant's quality standards
  • monitor and attend to guests' needs throughout their meal
  • refill drinks, clear empty plates, and ensure that tables are clean and organized
  • present checks to guests, process payments, and handle cash and credit transactions accurately
  • address and resolve any guest complaints or issues with professionalism and efficiency
  • escalate any unresolved issues to management as needed
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the server station, dining area, and other workspaces
  • ensure that all health and safety standards are followed
  • assist with opening and closing duties and sidework as assigned
