Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Prior experience preferred but not required
- This is a part-time position
Job Qualifications
- Ability to wipe down table tops, table legs, and pick up debris off the floor
- Transports plates, glasses, and baskets between dining room, service bar, and kitchen approximately 30 times per shift
- Required reading, writing, basic math, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be mobile during entire shift
- Ability to transport glass racks and cases up to 25 pounds about 15 times per shift
- Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for periods up to 4 hours
- Good sense of balance, ability to bend and kneel
- Ability to lift and bus pans and trays frequently weighing up to 25 pounds
Job Duties
- Delivers food and drinks to guests using Applebee's team delivery system
- Greet guests, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food, drinks, and service
- Interact verbally with all guests to create a friendly and upbeat atmosphere
- Relay orders to service bar and kitchen via the point-of-sale computerized register system
- Observe guests and respond to any additional requests
- Present guest checks to each table and accept payment, making correct change or completing the proper charge card procedure
- Participate in clearing and resetting dining room tables
