Job Requirements
- Must be of legal age according to State regulations to serve alcohol
- ability to work weekends, holidays, and special events unless approved by manager
- flexibility to work shifts according to business demand
- excellent communication skills
- ability to multi-task
- basic computer skills
- must be able to suggestively sell food and beverage items
Job Qualifications
- No educational requirement
- minimum of one year experience as a server
- micros experience strongly preferred
- excellent communication skills

- working knowledge of beer, wine, liquor, and common drink recipes
- high level of honesty and integrity
- ability to take direction while working quickly and efficiently
- a basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions
- basic math skills and the ability to handle money and operate a POS system
- ability to hand-carry a minimum of three plates
Job Duties
- Greet patrons with a warm welcome
- clear and reset tables
- provide a unique and personalized dining experience
- describe menu items using descriptive language and make recommendations based on customer preference
- respond promptly and courteously to all requests
- take food and beverage orders and enter in POS system
- maintain specific side-work and ensure the total cleanliness and smooth operation of the restaurant
- anticipate the needs of the patron and act upon them
- answer questions about food, beverage, and other restaurant or hotel functions and services
- maintain a clean and organized work and service area
- ensure guests are satisfied with their food, beverage, and service
- prepare final bill
- present check to guest
- accept payment
- process credit card charges or make changes if applicable
- teamwork - offer or ask to help fellow team members as situations arise
- thank guests by name if a credit card is used and invite them to return
- carry plates and/or trays
- check identification of guests to ensure they are of legal age to consume alcoholic beverages
- refuse to serve alcoholic beverages in a polite manner to guests who are not of legal age
- monitor the behavior of guests that are consuming alcohol and count number of drinks served
- offer taxi to patrons that should not drive and alert a manager to intervene if necessary
- report to work in a neat and clean uniform
- keep hair well-groomed and practice good hygiene
- complete required training and pass test for responsible service of alcohol
- have fun
- complete all other duties as assigned
- arrive at work on time for scheduled shift
- complete any reasonable task assigned by management or a supervisor
