Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience in hospitality preferred
  • Strong time management skills
  • Flexibility to work weekends and evenings
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods
  • Capability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Positive attitude and teamwork skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED
  • 1+ years customer service experience in the hospitality industry preferred
  • Strong time management skills

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekend and evening shifts

Job Duties

  • Receives and records dining reservations via the telephone
  • Ensures the proper setup of dining and service areas
  • Politely request guests wait in waiting area if no table is available
  • Ensures neatness and cleanliness of stations
  • Maintains clean and organized tables and work area
  • Presents menus and makes recommendations, learns all menus and specials
  • Assists room service staff when needed
  • Checks guests in and out of hotel suites
  • Helps guests with luggage
  • Serves breakfast to overnight guests
  • Manages event related work including setting up tables and assisting in maintaining both exterior and interior of the restaurant
  • Resolves guests' concerns in a prompt manner
