Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One or more years of customer service experience preferred
  • Strong time management skills
  • Customer service oriented
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
  • Physical stamina for 6+ hour shifts with prolonged standing and walking
  • Ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced environments
  • Positive attitude and team collaboration skills

Job Duties

  • Welcomes guests to create favorable impression of restaurant
  • Ensures prompt and courteous service meeting customer meal expectations
  • Escorts patrons to tables and provides menus
  • Books dining reservations via telephone
  • Sets up dining and service areas properly
  • Requests guests to wait politely if no table is available
  • Maintains cleanliness and organization of stations and work areas
  • Presents menus and makes recommendations
  • Assists room service staff as needed
  • Checks guests in and out of hotel suites
  • Helps guests with luggage
  • Serves breakfast to overnight guests
  • Manages event-related tasks including table setup and maintaining restaurant interior and exterior
  • Resolves guest concerns promptly
