Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food service or hospitality preferred
- ability to work varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- consistent attendance and punctuality
- ability to stand for extended periods
- good physical stamina
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- must follow company policies and procedures
- ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Job Qualifications
- Knowledge of food service regulations
- strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- ability to maintain positive client relationships
- able to lift and carry heavy trays easily and quickly
- proficient in speaking, reading, writing, and comprehending the English language
- ability to speak other languages in a multicultural work environment helpful
- able to utilize quick thinking and apply quick resolution to guest issues in accordance with brand standards

- able to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks
Job Duties
- Present menu, answer questions and make suggestions regarding food and service
- write order on check or memorize it
- relay and/or enter order into POS system for the kitchen and serve courses from kitchen and/or bar
- observe guests to fulfill any additional requests and to perceive when meal has been completed
- assist kitchen staff by ladling soup, tossing salad, portioning desserts, brewing coffee, and performing other services as needed
- clear and reset counters and tables at conclusion of each guest
- maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures
- work with the hotel team to create and deliver a memorable service experience for guests
- handle guest requests personally and/or refer to another team member as appropriate
- provide guests with the finest quality of service at all times in a warm and enthusiastic manner
- maintain a professional image at all times through action, appearance and dress
- follow company policies and procedures
- perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management
