Job Requirements
- Proof of age, associates who will be serving, pouring, or mixing alcoholic beverages will need to be 18 and in some states 21
- Completion of basic food handling training and obtaining any local or state mandated certification, health card, or food handlers permit where required
- Completion of Safe Alcohol Service training program for team members who work with alcohol
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Regular and consistent attendance
- Energetic and friendly attitude during each shift
- Accurate cash handling and basic math skills
- Interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate verbally and in writing with all ages, genders, and personalities
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently
- Ability to take and follow direction
- Ability to respond with a sense of urgency
- Physical ability to frequently bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Frequent standing, walking and reaching around the theater
- Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods
- Ability to comprehend and converse effectively in English
Job Qualifications
- Prior serving or bar experience in a full-service restaurant preferred
- Completion of basic food handling training
- Completion of Safe Alcohol Service training program for those working with alcohol
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with all ages, genders, and personalities
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently
- Capacity to take and follow direction
- Demonstrated excellent guest service and interpersonal skills
- Basic math skills and accurate cash handling
- Ability to comprehend and converse effectively in English
Job Duties
- Greet guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner
- Possess full knowledge of bar and menu items in a fast-paced environment to enhance the guest experience
- Accurately record food and beverage orders from guests in a timely manner
- Verify identification to confirm guests are at least 21 years of age for all alcohol transactions
- Ensure that alcohol is consumed in designated areas only
- Seat guests when applicable
- Consistently use suggestive selling techniques
- Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure that food orders are accurate
- Deliver food and beverage orders within established time frames
- Consistently wipe down and sanitize employee and guest high-contact areas
- Properly utilize personal protective equipment while completing position specific tasks
- Adapt to the frequency and scope of required cleaning tasks
- Monitor safety and security issues such as trip hazards, lighting, suspicious persons, and report to management
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned
