Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work full-time with flexible scheduling
- High level of mobility and physical flexibility
- Ability to work under heavy stress during peak hours
- High level of coordination
- Ability to lift and carry trays weighing up to 20 pounds for distances up to 30 feet
- Ability to fit through a 30-inch wide opening
- Frequent reaching, bending, pushing and pulling required
- Exposure to heat, steam, smoke, cold and odors
- Ability to stand and walk continually during shifts
Job Qualifications
- Basic skills such as sanitation, safety, and customer service taught through in-house training
- Trustworthy with handling payments and operating cash registers
- Ability to communicate clearly
Job Duties
- Report to work well-groomed, in clean and proper uniform and practice good personal hygiene
- Greet all guests in a kind, courteous and respectable way
- Handle cash, credit card information, gift cards and all payment-related tasks responsibly
- Take verbal drink and meal orders according to guest preference
- Serve high-quality food and check all orders to ensure they are complete, prepared as ordered, and attractively presented
- Monitor and oversee food temperatures to reduce risk of foodborne illness
- Maintain cleanliness of work station and pantry
- Perform side work during shift downtime including rolling silverware, restocking condiment holders, and cleaning work areas
- Execute the service cycle and team responsibilities at all times
- Maintain sufficient knowledge of the menu to suggestively sell items to guests
- Write guest checks and operate POS equipment as per company policies
- Anticipate, identify and correct system breakdowns for maximum guest satisfaction
- Communicate effectively with managers and coworkers about product, service deficiencies, equipment, safety problems
