Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work full-time with flexible scheduling
  • High level of mobility and physical flexibility
  • Ability to work under heavy stress during peak hours
  • High level of coordination
  • Ability to lift and carry trays weighing up to 20 pounds for distances up to 30 feet
  • Ability to fit through a 30-inch wide opening
  • Frequent reaching, bending, pushing and pulling required
  • Exposure to heat, steam, smoke, cold and odors
  • Ability to stand and walk continually during shifts

Job Qualifications

  • Basic skills such as sanitation, safety, and customer service taught through in-house training
  • Trustworthy with handling payments and operating cash registers
  • Ability to communicate clearly

Job Duties

  • Report to work well-groomed, in clean and proper uniform and practice good personal hygiene
  • Greet all guests in a kind, courteous and respectable way
  • Handle cash, credit card information, gift cards and all payment-related tasks responsibly
  • Take verbal drink and meal orders according to guest preference
  • Serve high-quality food and check all orders to ensure they are complete, prepared as ordered, and attractively presented
  • Monitor and oversee food temperatures to reduce risk of foodborne illness
  • Maintain cleanliness of work station and pantry
  • Perform side work during shift downtime including rolling silverware, restocking condiment holders, and cleaning work areas
  • Execute the service cycle and team responsibilities at all times
  • Maintain sufficient knowledge of the menu to suggestively sell items to guests
  • Write guest checks and operate POS equipment as per company policies
  • Anticipate, identify and correct system breakdowns for maximum guest satisfaction
  • Communicate effectively with managers and coworkers about product, service deficiencies, equipment, safety problems
