Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Previous restaurant experience is optional but preferred
  • Ability to read and understand simple instructions
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information to customers and other team members
  • Ability to add and subtract two and three-digit numbers and perform operations using units of American money
  • Ability to operate computer point-of-sale system
  • Must have exceptional hygiene and grooming habits
  • Food Handler Certification is required
  • TABC Certification is required
  • Must work 1-2 Food Runner shifts per week
  • Attend all scheduled team member meetings

Job Duties

  • Welcome and greet guests
  • Make guests feel comfortable and let them know you are there to care for them
  • Answer questions about food, beverages, and other restaurant services
  • Take food and beverage orders from guests and enter orders into the point-of-sale system
  • Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen and bar to guests promptly
  • Prepare the final bill, present check to guest, accept payment, process credit card charges or make change
  • Perform side work as management requires at the start and end of each shift
  • Monitor guests' dining experience to ensure satisfaction with food and service
  • Respond promptly and courteously to requests and communicate guest feedback to managers
  • Assist fellow servers as needed
  • Obtain strong working knowledge of the menu by completing server training
  • Must work 1-2 Food Runner shifts per week
  • Attend all scheduled team member meetings
