Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least some experience in food service or customer service preferred
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends
  • legally authorized to work in the United States
  • strong customer service skills
  • basic math skills for handling transactions
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • good personal hygiene and neat appearance

Job Duties

  • Ensure guest satisfaction and promote return visits by following the Eight Steps of Service
  • practice positive public relations by ensuring a welcoming and inclusive environment for all guests
  • be aware of guests' needs and work to make their experience pleasurable
  • show enthusiasm and knowledge about new products and promotions
  • promote teamwork by assisting other servers to ensure outstanding guest service
  • understand product specifications and ensure guests' receipts match their dining party
  • perform opening and closing procedures and side work duties
  • report equipment and facility problems to management
  • follow correct table bussing procedures
  • follow safe work practices to ensure personal and coworker safety
  • perform duty roster and meet cleanliness, service, and quality standards
  • follow local health department laws
