Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality role preferred
  • Must be comfortable with sales and guest interaction
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends
  • Physical ability to stand and move throughout shift
  • Capability to lift up to 20 lbs when necessary
  • Strong communication skills with a focus on guest satisfaction

Job Qualifications

  • Restaurant or serving experience preferred
  • Comfortable selling and making recommendations
  • Strong verbal and nonverbal communication skills
  • Ability to work nights and weekends
  • Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs as needed
  • Professional, energetic, and guest-focused demeanor
  • Willingness to learn and apply coaching in real time

Job Duties

  • Apply CHEERS at every table by greeting promptly, prioritizing hospitality, engaging guests in conversation, anticipating and easing their needs, managing section flow, and closing with gratitude
  • Guide guests through the menu by explaining layout and highlighting signature items and drinks
  • Make thoughtful recommendations and upsell naturally based on guest preferences
  • Identify first-time guests and regulars and adjust service accordingly
  • Communicate guest insights to teammates including celebrations, preferences, and timing needs
  • Maintain cleanliness, pre-bussing standards, and sanitation throughout the shift
  • Complete opening and closing duties accurately and on time
