Job Requirements

Must be 18 years or older to be considered
Previous experience as restaurant server, waiter, waitress, wait staff, runner, or other front-of-house role preferred but not required
Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for up to four hours continuously
Must have good sense of balance and be able to bend and kneel
Must be able to lift and bus pans and trays frequently weighing 25 pounds

Job Qualifications

Ability to wipe down tabletops, table legs, pick up debris off the floor and wipe down booth seats in all areas of the restaurant
Ability to transport plates, glasses, and baskets to and from dining room, service bar, and kitchen about 30 times per shift
Reading, writing, basic math and verbal communication skills
Mobility required during the entire shift
Ability to transport glass racks and cases up to 25 pounds up to 15 times per shift

Job Duties

Delivers food and drinks to guests using Applebee's team delivery system
Greet guests, answer questions, make suggestions regarding food, drinks, and service
Interact verbally with all guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere
Relay orders to service bar and kitchen via the point-of-sale computerized register system
Observe guests and respond to any additional requests
Present guest check to each table and accept a form of payment
Make correct change and/or complete the proper charge card procedure
Participate in the clearing and resetting of dining room tables
