Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Previous experience in a restaurant server or front-of-house role preferred but not required
- Ability to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for up to four hours
- Good sense of balance, ability to bend and kneel
- Ability to lift and bus pans and trays frequently weighing up to 25 pounds
Job Qualifications
- Ability to wipe down tabletops and booth seats
- Transport plates, glasses, and baskets to and from dining room, service bar, and kitchen approximately 30 times per shift
- Reading, writing, basic math, and verbal communication skills
- Mobility required during entire shift
- Ability to transport glass racks and cases up to 25 pounds approximately 15 times per shift
Job Duties
- Deliver food and drinks to guests using Applebee's team delivery system
- Greet guests, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food, drinks, and service
- Interact verbally with all guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere
- Relay orders to service bar and kitchen via the point-of-sale computerized register system
- Observe guests and respond to any additional requests
- Present guest check to each table and accept form of payment, making correct change or completing charge card procedures
- Participate in clearing and resetting dining room tables
