- basic understanding of food safety standards

Job Duties
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- provide information about the menu, specials, and make recommendations accordingly
- take accurate food and drink orders from guests, ensuring that special requests and dietary/allergy restrictions are communicated to the kitchen
- serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner
- monitor and attend to guests' needs throughout their meal, refill drinks, clear empty plates, and ensure that tables are clean and organized
- present checks to guests, process payments, and handle cash and credit transactions accurately
- address and resolve any guest complaints or issues with professionalism and efficiency, escalate any unresolved issues to management as needed
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the server station, dining area, and other workspaces
- assist with opening and closing duties and sidework as assigned
