Job Requirements
- At least 21 years of age
- Minimum six months of server experience
- Ability to lift 40 pounds
- Ability to stand for up to 10 hours
- Flexible availability including weekends and some holidays
- Must be able to read, write, and understand English
Job Qualifications
- At least six months of server experience
- Experience in full service or upscale casual dining preferred
- Comfort speaking about food, wine, and Wine Club program
- Passion for hospitality
- Ability to multitask and stay calm in fast-paced environments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
Job Duties
- Show up ready by arriving on time and in proper uniform
- Know the menu, wine list, and steps of service
- Use the POS system and handle payments with accuracy
- Understand and communicate benefits of the Wine Club
- Follow departmental checklists and standard operating procedures
- Serve food and drinks with speed and care
- Follow legal guidelines for alcohol service
- Communicate effectively with team members including Kitchen, Hosts, Runners, Bartenders, and Managers
- Anticipate needs of guests and team
- Take initiative to solve problems and support guest experience
- Welcome every guest warmly and personalize service by using guests' names
- Make genuine recommendations and share the Wine Club story
- Introduce wine tastings to guests and enhance their experience
- Uphold teamwork by jumping in where needed and keeping service flowing
- Maintain a positive, personable approach and leave a signature on every interaction
