Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant, preferably one that serves seafood
- strong knowledge of wines, preferably Northwest wines, is helpful
- must be able to stand and walk for periods of up to four hours
- must be able to bend, stoop, and carry up to 20 pounds frequently
- must be 18 or older to apply
Job Qualifications
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English
- must be able to converse with guests in a warm, friendly, gracious manner
- must be able to perform simple mathematical calculations
- must enjoy guest service, have excellent organization skills, and great sense of timing
Job Duties
- Responsible for coordinating own table section
- communicates with front and back-of-house team members to provide an excellent and memorable dining experience for our guests
- describes and suggests menu items and beverages, including seasonal specials
- takes and processes guest orders and ensures that all items are properly prepared and served in a timely fashion
- facilitates entire guest experience, from time they are seated through departure, ensures guest satisfaction, and responds to additional requests
