Job Requirements

  • 0-2 years of related experience
  • Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant setting
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods without rest
  • Ability to push, lift, carry, and transfer up to 50 pounds
  • Capability to bend, stoop, and perform physical tasks required by the job
  • Ability to verbally communicate clearly
  • Adequate vision capabilities including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception
  • Ability to freely access all areas of the restaurant including sales floor, stock area, and register area
  • Dependability and exceptional teamwork skills

  • Excellent guest service skills and experience
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues proactively
  • Detail-oriented with strong multi-tasking abilities
  • Good organizational and prioritization skills
  • Proficiency with POS systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of restaurant concepts, practices, and procedures

Job Duties

  • Takes guest orders utilizing menu knowledge and situational selling techniques
  • Serves food and beverages to guests promptly and ensures all items meet company quality standards
  • Communicates professionally with guests to determine needs and assist with menu selections
  • Demonstrates knowledge of menu items by describing food properly and maintaining quality standards
  • Inputs orders accurately into the POS system
  • Pre-bus tables and assists with approved side work as needed
  • Practices safe food and beverage handling and maintains cleanliness
  • Safely operates food prep equipment
  • Effectively handles guest complaints and escalates to management when necessary
  • Interacts with guests to ensure a positive experience
  • Assists in other job categories as assigned
  • Performs all other duties as assigned
