Job Requirements

  • Minimum of one year relevant experience in hospitality, full-service or senior living preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including 12pm-7pm and 4pm-7pm
  • Physically able to stand for extended periods and perform food service tasks
  • Read and follow food safety guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • Customer service skills
  • Knowledge of food safety standards
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings

Job Duties

  • Prepare food items and serve food to residents within scheduled time frame
  • Clean and maintain food service areas including kitchen and dining room
  • Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing with residents and staff
  • Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Maintain a clean and organized dining environment
  • Provide excellent customer service to seniors
  • Follow food safety and hygiene standards
