Job Requirements
- Must be of legal age to serve liquor according to state law
- Must pass server aptitude test with a passing percentage of 85% or higher
- Must hold state applicable health and/or alcohol compliance card
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs as needed
- Ability to stand and walk for entire shift
- Must follow company dress code and grooming standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be able to multi-task and manage time effectively
- Knowledge of safety procedures and responsibilities

- Ability to suggestively sell food and beverage items

Job Duties
- Complete all pre-shift and post-shift side work thoroughly and efficiently
- Serve multiple tables as determined by management
- Arrive to work on time with proper uniform ready for work
- Report to work in a neat and clean uniform with well-groomed hair and personal hygiene
- Demonstrate complete knowledge of restaurant’s food and beverage preparation
- Sell alcohol and food items as needed
- Take all orders efficiently using handheld device
- Interact with guests in a friendly and fast manner
- Accept different types of payment and make change accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and smooth operation of the restaurant
- Clear and reset tables
- Check identification for legal alcohol consumption
- Refuse service politely to underage guests
- Observe guest behavior related to alcohol service and offer taxis if needed
- Treat all guests to ensure their complete satisfaction
- Approach each table promptly and communicate delays
- Complete Micros training program
- Memorize all table numbers
- Suggestively sell and up-sell food and alcohol
- Handle drinks carefully and use beverage napkins or coasters
- Card guests who appear under 30
- Escalate guest complaints to management immediately
- Assist with busser duties when necessary
- Avoid walking through the dining room with empty hands
- Notify manager if guests show signs of intoxication
- Present checks and bid farewell
- Commit to cleanliness of station and restaurant
- Adhere to all company rules and policies
- Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager-on-duty
