Job Requirements

  • Experience in food service or customer service preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • Must be able to stand for long periods
  • Must be able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer service or food service role is beneficial
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of food and beverage menus and terminology is an asset
  • Demonstrated professionalism and a positive attitude
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends

Job Duties

  • Ensuring the guest dining experience is enjoyable, well-timed, and pleasant
  • Providing a professional and inviting attitude when interacting with guests and employees
  • Helping guests select menu items by thoroughly going over the food and bar menus, recommending cocktails, suggesting courses, explaining chef's features, and identifying wines in accordance with training
  • Thoroughly answering all food and beverage preparation questions
  • Making managers aware of any special accommodations such as specific food allergies prior to reporting it to the kitchen
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of tables and dining area around guests
  • Completing opening, running, and closing side work related to job duties
