Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old to sell alcohol
  • Ability to lift, carry or move up to 30 lbs
  • Able to work in hot and cold environments
  • Ability to walk and stand for up to 8 hours per shift
  • Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting, and stooping
  • Manual dexterity to handle glassware, utensils, and technology systems
  • Ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Visual ability including distance, closeness, color, depth, peripheral vision, and focus adjustment
  • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation
  • Responsible Beverage Service Certifications required for California positions (completed during training or within 60 days after start)

  • Responsible Beverage Service Certifications for California positions (can be completed during training)

Job Duties

  • Provide friendly, prompt, and attentive service tailored to guest preferences
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of the food and drink menu and confidently recommend, upsell, and support guest orders
  • Prepare food and condiments according to Outback standards
  • Ensure accurate guest orders and complete bussing, food delivery, and customer experience duties
  • Maintain high standards in food safety, cleanliness, job safety, and sanitation
  • Handle cash and credit transactions accurately
  • Support all restaurant areas as needed, demonstrating teamwork
