Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- delivers food and drinks to guests using Applebee's team delivery system
- greets guests and answers questions
- interacts verbally with guests
- relays orders to kitchen and service bar through POS system
- observes guests and responds to requests
- presents guest check and processes payment accurately
- participates in clearing and resetting tables
- able to wipe tabletops, pick up floor debris, and clean booth seats
- able to transport plates, glasses, and baskets approximately 30 times per shift
- reading, writing, basic math, and verbal communication skills required
- mobility throughout entire shift
- able to carry glass racks and cases up to 25 pounds up to 15 times per shift
- able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for up to four hours
- good balance, bending, kneeling, and lifting capability required
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as restaurant server, waiter, waitress, runner, or other FOH part-time restaurant job preferred but not required
- ability to wipe down tabletops, table legs, pick up debris, and wipe booth seats
- reading, writing, basic math, and verbal communication skills
- physical mobility and stamina for fast-paced work
- ability to lift and bus pans and trays weighing up to 25 pounds
Job Duties
- Deliver food and drinks to guests using Applebee's team delivery system
- greet guests, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food, drinks, and service
- interact verbally with all guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere
- relay orders to service bar and kitchen via the point-of-sale system
- observe guests and respond to any additional requests
- present guest check to each table and accept payment
- participate in clearing and resetting dining room tables
