Job Requirements

- basic knowledge of POS systems advantageous
Job Duties
- Escort guests to their tables when needed
- review MVP program with all guests
- demonstrate strong MVP program knowledge
- present menus and answer questions about menu items
- upsell to improve dining experience and raise check average
- explain preparation methods and ingredients
- write guests food orders on order pads and repeat orders back
- input orders accurately into POS system
- check with guests to ensure satisfaction and address issues
- verify guests' identification for alcoholic beverage consumption
- collect payments from guests
- clear dishes and glasses from tables throughout visit and after guests leave
- clean and reset tables
- assist host or hostess by answering phones, taking to-go orders, greeting, seating, and thanking guests
- perform cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, tidying stations, taking out trash, and cleaning bathrooms
- roll silverware, set up food stations and dining areas for next shifts or large parties
- stock service areas with supplies
- fill salt and pepper shakers and wipe down table tents
- request guests to leave reviews
- maintain positive and professional interactions with coworkers and customers
