Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred

  • Experience with POS systems such as Toast is highly desirable but not required
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
  • Cash handling experience is a plus
  • Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation is beneficial but not required
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented atmosphere

Job Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately using Toast POS systems
  • Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, and make recommendations to enhance the guest experience
  • Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation
  • Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns promptly and professionally
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and timely service
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations to ensure a safe dining environment
  • Assist with cashiering duties as needed, including cash handling and basic math for transactions
