Job Requirements

Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred
Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction
Familiarity with food handling practices, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations
Ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail
Experience with POS systems such as Toast is highly desirable but not required
Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
Cash handling experience is a plus
Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation is beneficial but not required
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented atmosphere

Job Duties

Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable
Take food and beverage orders accurately using Toast POS systems
Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, and make recommendations to enhance the guest experience
Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation
Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns promptly and professionally
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and timely service
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests
Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations to ensure a safe dining environment
Assist with cashiering duties as needed, including cash handling and basic math for transactions
