Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a customer service role preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
  • Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-oriented attitude
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests
  • Knowledge of culinary practices, including food safety standards and fine dining etiquette
  • Experience with cash handling and operating cash registers effectively
  • Familiarity with restaurant operations, including menu offerings and sales techniques
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members

Job Duties

  • Greet and seat guests promptly, presenting menus and providing information about daily specials
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff
  • Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanor, ensuring guests feel welcomed and valued
  • Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests
  • Adhere to food safety standards and regulations to ensure the health and safety of all patrons
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and assist with any additional tasks as required
