Job Requirements
- Experience working in an upscale casual restaurant
- Knowledge of food and beverage service
- Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Leadership experience in a hospitality setting
- Ability to use POS systems effectively or learn quickly
- High school diploma or equivalent

- Proficient in the use of POS systems or ability to quickly learn
- Strong food and beverage knowledge
- Ability to work in a high volume, upscale casual restaurant
- Experienced in guest interaction and service
- Leadership skills in managing guest experiences
- Team-oriented attitude
- Eagerness to continue learning and industry knowledge
- Fluent understanding of restaurant service functions
Job Duties
- Act as a liaison between the guest, kitchen team and service team
- Manage the dining experience including taking orders, understanding dietary restrictions, explaining the menu and dining style
- Ring food and beverage orders into the POS system
- Address questions about the food, beverage and restaurant
- Assist with running food and bar beverages
- Assist with wine service when appropriate
- Initiate maintenance and re-setting of tables, bar and service stations including clearing plates and replenishing silverware and napkins
- Assist with the polishing of glassware and silverware as needed
