As a Server at Applebee's, you play a crucial role as the first and last point of contact with guests, responsible for delivering excellent customer service. The successful candidate will be friendly, proactive in making recommendations, and skilled at anticipating guests’ needs. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to effectively communicate with others
  • Commitment to making an impact
  • Able to exert well-paced mobility for periods up to four hours
  • Ability to safely reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to transport plates, glasses, and baskets multiple times per shift
  • Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively
  • Ability to wear protective hand coverings and face masks during entire shift
  • Ability to handle disinfectant cleaning supplies
  • Ability to frequently wash hands with disinfecting soap

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old

  • Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Basic math skills for handling transactions

Job Duties

  • Greet and interact with guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
  • Make menu recommendations and upsell items to enhance guest experience
  • Anticipate and attend to guests’ needs promptly and efficiently
  • Deliver food and beverages accurately and timely
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
  • Handle cash and process payments accurately
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols including the use of protective gear and sanitization
