Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • minimum 1 year related work experience
  • no supervisory experience required
  • ability to work weekends, days, and evenings
  • ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds
  • basic computer skills
  • ability to understand and follow safety and security protocols
  • effective communication skills
  • willingness to assist guests and team members

Job Qualifications

  • ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • experience with food and beverage service
  • ability to follow safety and security policies
  • attention to detail and strong customer service skills

  • basic proficiency with order processing systems such as MICROS

Job Duties

  • Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests
  • set tables according to type of event and service standards
  • answer questions on menu selections
  • communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, length of wait, re-cook orders, and product availability
  • communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen
  • record transactions in MICROS system at time of order
  • check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverage
  • maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc., throughout the day
  • complete closing duties including restocking items and turning off lights
  • present physical and accurate check to guest and process payment
