Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years experience in restaurant industry
- Meets state minimum age (18) to serve alcohol
- Valid form of identification
- May require food handler's certification depending on local regulations
- Ability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, and handle items for extended periods
- Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Basic knowledge of English
- Ability to read, understand and follow company policies and directives
- Knowledge of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division using whole numbers, fractions and decimals
- Ability to calculate discounts and tips
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions
- Must be able to learn and use Toast Point-of-Sale (POS) and Restaurant365 systems
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a team environment
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Job Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in restaurant industry
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge and passion for tableside service, wine, and craft cocktails
- Meets state minimum age (18) to serve alcohol
- Basic understanding of cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Excellent customer service skills with a polite and attentive demeanor
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
- Ability to work in a team serving environment
- May require a food handler's certification depending on local regulations
- Basic knowledge of English
- Ability to read, understand and follow verbal and written company directives and initiatives
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of government policies and regulations
- Ability to effectively communicate with managers, clients, customers, and the general public
- Ability to creatively solve problems in a fast-paced environment using experience and outside-the-box mindset
- Ability to use common sense to understand and carry out written and oral instructions
- Must be able to learn and utilize Toast Point-of-Sale (POS) and Restaurant365 systems
Job Duties
- Answer questions about the menu and sell restaurant’s food and drinks
- Communicate orders with the kitchen
- Stay guest focused and sustain an excellent guest experience
- Possess strong food and beverage knowledge
- Keep all working stations clean, organized and properly stocked
- Perform daily and weekly cleaning duties
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions ensuring accuracy and returning correct change to guests
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
