Job Requirements
- Restaurant experience preferred, not required
- Must be upbeat, outgoing and positive
- Ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic math skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Ability to be on your feet and alert for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs as needed
- Continuous use of hands and arms, bending, reaching and twisting

Job Duties
- Prepare room for dining by setting decorations, condiments, candles, napkins, service plates, and utensils
- Protect establishment and guests by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies
- Greet and welcome guests, inviting them back as they leave
- Help guests select food and beverages by presenting menu, offering cocktails/beverages, suggesting courses, explaining the chef's specials, identifying appropriate wines, and answering food preparation questions
- Identify patrons' special dietary needs and special requests
- Keep kitchen staff informed by noting timing of meal progression
- Respond to additional guest requirements by inquiring of needs and observing dining process
- Maintain table setting by removing courses as completed, replenishing utensils, refilling water glasses, and being alert to patron spills or special needs
