Job Requirements

  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask
  • Basic understanding of cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • Excellent customer service skills with a polite and attentive demeanor
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights, weekends and holidays

  • May require food handler's certification depending on local regulations
  • Must have valid form of identification
  • Must have mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply and divide
  • Must be able to calculate discounts and tips
  • Must be able to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions
  • Must be able to learn and utilize Toast Point-of-Sale and Restaurant365 systems

Job Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in restaurant industry
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge and passion for tableside service, wine, and craft cocktails
  • Meets state minimum age to serve alcohol (18)
  • Basic knowledge of English
  • Ability to read, understand and follow verbal and written company directives and initiatives
  • Ability to effectively answer questions and speak before groups of managers, clients and customers

Job Duties

  • Answer questions about the menu, sell restaurant's food and drinks, communicate orders with the kitchen
  • Stay guest focused and sustain an excellent guest experience
  • Possess strong food and beverage knowledge
  • Keep all working stations clean, organized and properly stocked
  • Perform daily and weekly cleaning duties
  • Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions ensuring accuracy and correct change
  • Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations
