Job Requirements
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask
- Basic understanding of cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Excellent customer service skills with a polite and attentive demeanor
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
- Able to work in a team serving environment
- May require food handler's certification depending on local regulations
- Must have valid form of identification
- Must have mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply and divide
- Must be able to calculate discounts and tips
- Must be able to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions
- Must be able to learn and utilize Toast Point-of-Sale and Restaurant365 systems
Job Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in restaurant industry
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge and passion for tableside service, wine, and craft cocktails
- Meets state minimum age to serve alcohol (18)
- Basic knowledge of English
- Ability to read, understand and follow verbal and written company directives and initiatives
- Ability to effectively answer questions and speak before groups of managers, clients and customers
Job Duties
- Answer questions about the menu, sell restaurant's food and drinks, communicate orders with the kitchen
- Stay guest focused and sustain an excellent guest experience
- Possess strong food and beverage knowledge
- Keep all working stations clean, organized and properly stocked
- Perform daily and weekly cleaning duties
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions ensuring accuracy and correct change
- Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations
