Job Requirements
- Perform physical tasks such as moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance
- reach overhead and below the knees
- perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
- stand, sit, or walk for an extended period or full work shift
- maintain availability to work a fluctuating schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred
- customer service-related work experience preferred but not required

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Maintains cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures
- communicates additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen
- sets tables according to the type of event and service standards, including types of linens, glassware, plate/chinaware, and silver/flatware, ensuring all supplies meet quality standards
- inspects the cleanliness and presentation of all china, glass, and silver prior to use
- follows appropriate procedures for serving alcohol
- addresses guests' service needs in a professional, positive, and timely manner
- thanks guests with genuine appreciation and provides a fond farewell
- welcomes and acknowledges each guest with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly verbal greeting, using the guest's name when possible
- anticipates guests' service needs and acts on them
- listens and responds positively to guest questions and concerns, resolving issues to build trust
- engages guests in conversation regarding their stay, property services, and local attractions
- assists individuals with disabilities within guidelines
- supports coworkers to ensure proper coverage and prompt guest service
- completes closing duties including cleaning, restocking, locking, and securing areas
- presents accurate checks and processes payments while following cash handling procedures
- checks in with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and beverages
- answers menu questions and communicates with kitchen staff as needed
- speaks to guests and coworkers using clear, professional language
- records transactions in the POS system timely
- counts bank at end of shift, completes reports, resolves discrepancies, deposits receipts, and secures bank
- follows safety and security policies
