Job Requirements
- Associate is expected to take food and beverage orders correctly, giving prompt, efficient and correct delivery of order to the guest
- Promptly presenting the guest with a check and collecting all monies for full payment of check
- Keeps the immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance
- Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position
- Excellent communication, organizational and guest service skills required
- At all times projects a favorable image of the hotel to the public
- Must have open availability work weekends and holidays
- Must be able to cook per guidelines
- Must be able to tend bar and serve Starbucks
- Ability to stand for extended periods, move continuously during work hours, lift and/or carry 50 pounds
Job Qualifications
- Excellent communication, organizational and guest service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in food and beverage service preferred
- Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations
- Basic knowledge of food preparation, bar tending and Starbucks service
- High school diploma or equivalent
Job Duties
- Providing value added service to guests by doing whatever is reasonable and possible to meet or exceed the guest expectations
- Communication effectively with guests, co-workers, and supervisors
- Ensure that the restaurant is in proper condition for the arrival of guest
- Complete opening and closing side work as directed by your supervisor/manager
- Greet and welcome all guests with a smile at the tables, suggest specials using suggestive selling techniques
- Adheres to hotel’s standards of operations
- Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
