- Must have a valid form of identification
- Must have the knowledge to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measurement
- Must have the knowledge to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and tips
- Must have the ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
- Must have sufficient physical mobility and agility to perform physical job functions
- Must maintain professionalism and personal accountability
Job Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in restaurant industry
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge and passion for tableside service, wine, and craft cocktails are a plus
- Meets state minimum age (18) to serve alcohol
- Basic knowledge of English
- Ability to read, understand and follow verbal and written company directives
- Knowledge and understanding of government policies and regulations
- Ability to use common sense to understand and carry out instructions
- Ability to creatively solve problems in a fast paced environment
- Demonstrates emotional intelligence and professionalism under stress
- Must be able to learn and utilize Toast Point-of-Sale (POS) and Restaurant365 systems
Job Duties
- Answer questions about the menu, sells restaurant's food and drinks, and communicates orders with the kitchen
- Stay guest focused and sustain an excellent guest experience
- Possess strong food and beverage knowledge
- Keep all working stations clean, organized and properly stocked
- Perform daily and weekly cleaning duties
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to guest
- Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations
