Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous customer service or restaurant experience preferred
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Capability to lift up to 20 pounds
  • Good coordination and mobility
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be able to follow food safety protocols and company policies

Job Duties

  • Report to work well-groomed in clean and proper uniform and practice good personal hygiene
  • Greet all guests in a kind, courteous and respectable way
  • Handle cash, credit card information, gift cards and payments responsibly
  • Take verbal drink and meal orders accurately according to guest preference
  • Serve high quality food and check all orders for completeness, correctness and presentation
  • Monitor food temperatures during hot and cold handling to ensure food safety
  • Maintain cleanliness of work station and pantry
  • Perform side work during downtime including rolling silverware, restocking condiment holders and cleaning work areas
  • Execute the service cycle and team responsibilities consistently
  • Maintain sufficient menu knowledge to suggestively sell to guests
  • Write guest checks and operate POS equipment according to company policies
  • Anticipate, identify and correct service and system issues to maximize guest satisfaction
  • Communicate effectively with managers and co-workers regarding service issues, safety problems and equipment needs
