Job Requirements

- ServeSafe Food Certification a plus

Job Duties
- Delivers food and drinks to guests using Applebee's team delivery
- Interacts verbally with all bar guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere
- Greets guests, answers questions, makes suggestions regarding food, drinks, and specials
- Completes assigned opening and closing side work
- Presents guest checks to dining room patrons and makes correct change or completes credit transactions
- Relays food orders to kitchen via the point-of-sale computerized register system in a timely and accurate manner
- Serves alcohol according to all state and federal laws and company policies
- Participates in clearing and resetting dining room tables using Applebee's team delivery
- Observes guests, responds to requests, and anticipates guests' needs
- Maintains a clean and organized work area
- Explains and demonstrates usage of Tabletop Electronic Devices
- Drives sales with suggestive selling
- Writes and repeats guests' orders for confirmation
- Accommodates special needs of guests such as booster chairs and high chairs
- Assists in host/hostess or Carside To-Go serving as needed
- Performs general utility functions as requested by management
