Job Requirements

Job Duties
- ensure guest satisfaction and promote return visits by following the Eight Steps of Service
- practice positive public relations through ensuring the restaurant is welcoming and inclusive for all guests
- be aware of guests' needs and work to make their experience pleasurable
- show enthusiasm and knowledge about new products and special promotions
- promote teamwork by assisting other servers to ensure outstanding guest service
- thoroughly understand product specifications and ensure guests' receipts match the number of guests dining
- perform opening and closing procedures and side work duties
- bring equipment and facility problems to the attention of the manager
- follow correct table bussing procedures
- follow safe work practices to ensure personal safety and the safety of others
- perform duty roster and meet cleanliness, service, and quality standards
- follow local health department laws
