Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • ability to stand and walk for entire shift without rest
  • ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • excellent verbal communication skills
  • capability to use hands for handling objects and controls
  • ability to bend and stoop as necessary
  • strong vision capabilities including color and peripheral vision
  • must be dependable and a team player

Job Qualifications

  • Excellent guest service skills and experience
  • ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
  • detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
  • ability to prioritize tasks with good organizational skills
  • computer skills including POS system knowledge
  • 0-2 years related experience
  • strong knowledge of commonly used restaurant concepts, practices, and procedures
  • relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

Job Duties

  • Take guest orders utilizing menu knowledge and situational selling techniques
  • serve food and beverages promptly ensuring quality and company standards
  • communicate professionally with guests to determine needs and assist with menu selections
  • promote new promotions and product information to guests
  • describe menu items accurately exhibiting knowledge and meeting quality standards
  • input orders accurately into the POS system
  • pre-bus tables and assist with approved side work
  • practice safe food and beverage handling and maintain cleanliness
  • safely handle food prep equipment such as knives, coffee maker, iced tea machine
  • effectively handle guest complaints and escalate appropriately
  • communicate with guests and manage guest flow during busy times
  • assist in other job categories as needed
  • perform all duties as assigned
