Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be an American citizen or Green Card holder
- Willing and able to work at least 12 hours a day for 7 days a week for up to 28 weeks
- Able to meet moderate physical requirements such as lifting, bending, climbing, and standing or walking for extended periods
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test including marijuana and other controlled substances
- No alcohol consumption allowed during employment
- Willing to perform safety and emergency duties as part of shipboard responsibilities
- Comply with grooming standards including tattoo and piercing limitations
- Temporary employment not to exceed 28 weeks
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be an American citizen or Green Card holder
- Ability to work a minimum of 12 hours per day for 7 days a week for up to 28 weeks
- Ability to meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, and extended periods of standing or walking
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test including screening for controlled substances
- Must not consume alcohol while employed onboard
- Willingness to perform emergency and safety functions essential to ship operations
- Adherence to grooming standards including limitations on visible tattoos and piercings
- Positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure
Job Duties
- Provide guests with an elegant and memorable dining experience
- Set up and break down breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktail hour including arranging linen, silverware, china, and glassware
- Cater to all culinary requests efficiently
- Acknowledge guests by name, escort them to tables, present menus, suggest courses and wines, and answer menu questions
- Relay orders to the galley and serve courses and beverages with care, ensuring presentation and garnishing
- Perform additional duties such as greeting guests upon embarkation, serving afternoon teas and snacks, and catering evening entertainment events
