Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to stand for long periods
- availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
- legally eligible to serve alcoholic beverages
- ability to perform physical activities including cleaning, lifting and walking
- basic mathematical skills
- good judgment and problem-solving ability
- effective communication skills
- willingness to attend training and staff meetings

Job Duties
- Greet guests in a friendly professional manner
- provide education about Chickies style of service, the food and beverage menus, how menu items are prepared, the ingredients used and the different cooking methods
- ensure menu, food preparation and ingredient knowledge to address guests food allergy concerns and questions
- smile and maintain a positive attitude at all times
- perform light food preparation duties when needed
- follow all Chickies & Petes service standards including up-selling and suggestive selling
- inform guests of daily specials
- check food and beverages for quality and presentation before serving
- serve food and beverages to guests
- check identification to ensure guests meet minimum age requirements for alcoholic beverages
- recognize signs of intoxication and handle alcohol-related situations effectively
- provide food and drink recommendations to guests
- receive guest payments and process transactions
- sincerely thank all guests and invite them back
- clear, clean, and reset tables promptly according to proper sanitation standards
- ensure all condiments and napkin dispensers are clean and well stocked
- respond appropriately to guest complaints and bring issues to manager’s attention
- perform marketing and other promotional services as needed
- complete beginning, change and end of shift side duties
- understand the importance of speed of service and act with a sense of urgency
- attend all scheduled employee meetings
- perform additional tasks as assigned
