Job Requirements
- Must have criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community
- Must pass all health screenings such as physical, TB, and drug test
- Must have current basic first aid or obtain within first 30 days of hire
- Must have current Serve Safe certification or willingness to obtain within the first 30 days of hire
- Strong customer service attitude
- Assure compliance with all proper serving techniques and etiquette
- Adhere to all sanitary guidelines according to company policies and state and local regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in food service or hospitality is beneficial
- Serve Safe certification or willingness to obtain within first 30 days
- Basic first aid certification or willingness to obtain within first 30 days
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Good communication skills
Job Duties
- Assure compliance with proper serving techniques and etiquette such as serving from the left and clearing used dishes between courses
- Adhere to all sanitary guidelines according to company policies and state and local regulations
- Provide compassionate and attentive customer service to seniors during meal times
- Assist in maintaining a clean and welcoming dining environment
- Communicate effectively with residents and team members to enhance dining experience
- Participate in training sessions and obtain required certifications such as Serve Safe and basic first aid
- Follow all health and safety protocols including passing physical, TB, and drug screenings
