Job Duties
- Delivers food and drinks to guests using Applebee’s team delivery
- interacts verbally with all bar guests creating a friendly and upbeat environment
- greets guests, answers questions, makes suggestions regarding food and drinks
- completes assigned opening and closing side work
- presents guest checks to dining room patrons, makes correct change and/or completes necessary credit transactions
- relays food orders to kitchen via point-of-sale computerized register system in a timely and accurate manner
- serves alcohol according to all state and federal laws, company, and brand policies
- participates in clearing and resetting dining room tables using Applebee’s team delivery
- observes guests, responds to requests, and anticipates needs
- maintains a clean and organized work area
- explains and demonstrates use of tabletop electronic devices to guests
- drives sales with suggestive selling
- writes and repeats guests’ orders to ensure understanding and order accuracy
- accommodates special needs of guests such as booster chairs and high chairs
- may serve guests occasionally as Host/Hostess or Carside To-Go Server
- performs general utility functions as requested by management
