Job Requirements

  • Valid form of identification
  • ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measurement using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and tips
  • ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
  • ability to learn and utilize Toast Point-of-Sale (POS) and Restaurant365 systems
  • flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • must have sufficient physical mobility to respond quickly to fire or other emergencies
  • must meet state minimum age requirements to serve alcohol

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least 2 years of experience in the restaurant industry
  • knowledge and passion for tableside service, wine, and craft cocktails are a plus
  • meets state minimum age (18) to serve alcohol
  • basic understanding of cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • excellent customer service skills with a polite and attentive demeanor
  • ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
  • ability to work in a team serving environment
  • may require a food handler's certification depending on local regulations
  • basic knowledge of English
  • ability to read, understand and follow verbal and written company directives and initiatives
  • demonstrate knowledge and understanding of government policies and regulations
  • ability to effectively answer questions and speak before groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public at restaurant locations

Job Duties

  • Answer questions about the menu, sell restaurant's food and drinks, and communicate orders with the kitchen
  • stay guest focused and sustain an excellent guest experience
  • possess strong food and beverage knowledge
  • keep all working stations clean, organized and properly stocked
  • perform daily and weekly cleaning duties
  • handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to guest
  • assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations
