Job Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED or equivalent
  • Food handling certification such as ServSafe and Responsible Beverage Service
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Must conform to hotel dress and grooming standards, including wearing the hotel-issued uniform, no visible tattoos while in uniform, no unnatural hair colors, no piercings other than one pair of earrings, and neatly groomed facial hair
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Able and willing to maintain regular attendance and punctuality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Ability to address guest concerns professionally and tactfully

Job Duties

  • Greet guests promptly and courteously
  • Present menus and answer questions about food, beverages, and specials
  • Take accurate food and drink orders
  • Deliver orders in a timely manner and ensure accuracy
  • Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and handle concerns professionally
  • Clear tables, reset for new guests, and maintain cleanliness in the dining area
  • Process payments accurately using the POS system
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace policies
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
