Job Requirements

  • Pass pre-employment drug test including marijuana and controlled substances
  • comply with grooming standards limiting visible tattoos and piercings
  • no alcohol consumption while on duty
  • willingness to work 28 weeks onboard
  • ability to meet physical job demands
  • meet age and citizenship requirements
  • willingness to undergo safety and emergency training
  • temporary employment status not extending beyond 28 weeks

Job Qualifications

  • At least 18 years of age
  • American citizen or Green Card holder
  • ability to work a minimum of 12 hours per day, 7 days a week
  • strong customer service and hospitality skills
  • good communication and interpersonal skills
  • capable of physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods
  • ability to maintain composure under pressure and a positive attitude

Job Duties

  • Provide guests with an elegant and memorable dining experience
  • efficiently set up and break down dining areas for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktail hour including table settings, linen, silverware, china, and glassware
  • cater to all culinary requests promptly and professionally
  • acknowledge guests by name, escort to tables, present menus, suggest courses and wines, and answer menu questions
  • relay orders to the galley and serve courses and beverages ensuring presentation and garnishment standards
  • perform additional functions such as greeting guests at embarkation, serving afternoon teas and snacks, and catering evening entertainment events
