- one to three months related experience or training
- ability to perform visual acuity tasks

- ability to perform physical tasks such as cleaning, lifting, and standing

Job Duties
- Clean and store dishes according to departmental standards
- complete cleaning efficiently and timely
- utilize chemicals appropriately
- maintain work area including sweeping, mopping, sanitizing counters, and taking out garbage
- serve foods and assemble trays for residents adhering to specific diet alterations
- follow tray assurance protocol
- complete assigned daily cleaning schedule including equipment and storage areas
- demonstrate required competencies using unit-specific checklist
- demonstrate proper hand washing techniques
- understand basic measuring utensils and follow production sheets
- follow safe food handling procedures and HACCP guidelines
- abide by schedule and select menus for residents
- follow dish room, pot and pan procedures including chemical use and sanitization
