Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years of age
- ability to read, write and communicate in English
- ability to work days, nights and weekends as required
- ability to stand and walk 100% of shift
- ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- ability to work in noisy and fast paced environment
- ability to reach, bend, and stoop frequently
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous customer service experience preferred
- ability to effectively communicate in English
- knowledge of food and beverage preparation a plus
- experience with point of sale systems helpful
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- excellent interpersonal skills
- strong attention to detail
- ability to handle money accurately
Job Duties
- deliver an unparalleled guest experience through food, drinks and games
- keep immediate supervisor informed of problems or unusual matters
- create a warm, fun atmosphere for guests and team members
- adhere to company sanitation procedures
- maintain responsibility for personal bank and accurate financial transactions
- follow alcohol awareness procedures
- assess guest demeanor and involve management as needed
- greet guests promptly and courteously
- take food and drink orders accurately
- maintain thorough knowledge of menu items
- enter orders into Micros system efficiently
- ensure food is properly garnished and delivered
- work efficiently following full hands in, full hands out philosophy
- assist in party setup and breakdown
- bus and reset tables
- support other team members as needed
- complete station work and sales on Micros keys
- participate in sales incentives and contests
- follow portion guidelines for cost control
- ensure guest satisfaction by checking back after delivery and maintaining drink levels
- keep station clean and organized
- foster cooperative and harmonious working relationships
- communicate effectively with guests to promote the Dave & Buster’s experience
- operate Micros system accurately and manage financial accountability
- dress in proper dress code
- be at least 18 years of age
