Job Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older
  • American citizen or Green Card holder
  • ability to work at least 12 hours daily for 7 days a week for 28 weeks
  • ability to meet moderate physical demands such as lifting, bending, climbing, extended standing or walking
  • pass pre-employment drug testing
  • abstain from alcohol consumption
  • meet grooming standards regarding tattoos and piercings
  • complete emergency and safety training
  • temporary employment limited to 28 weeks

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • American citizen or Green Card holder
  • willing and able to work a minimum of 12 hours per day, 7 days a week, for up to 28 weeks
  • able to meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, and extended periods of standing or walking
  • able to pass pre-employment drug testing including for marijuana and other controlled substances
  • no alcohol consumption allowed during employment
  • able to meet grooming standards including visible tattoos and piercings limitations
  • able to perform emergency and safety functions essential to ship operation
  • positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure

Job Duties

  • Provide guests with an elegant and memorable dining experience
  • efficiently set up and break down breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktail hour including setting tables, arranging linen, silverware, china, and glassware
  • cater to all culinary requests in an efficient manner
  • acknowledge guests by name, escort them to their tables, present food and beverage menus, suggest particular courses and wines, and answer questions about menu items
  • relay orders efficiently to the galley and serve courses and beverages with care, ensuring presentation and garnishing
  • greet guests upon embarkation, serve afternoon teas and snacks, and cater evening entertainment as required
