Job Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- American citizen or Green Card holder
- ability to work at least 12 hours daily for 7 days a week for 28 weeks
- ability to meet moderate physical demands such as lifting, bending, climbing, extended standing or walking
- pass pre-employment drug testing
- abstain from alcohol consumption
- meet grooming standards regarding tattoos and piercings
- complete emergency and safety training
- temporary employment limited to 28 weeks
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- American citizen or Green Card holder
- willing and able to work a minimum of 12 hours per day, 7 days a week, for up to 28 weeks
- able to meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, and extended periods of standing or walking
- able to pass pre-employment drug testing including for marijuana and other controlled substances
- no alcohol consumption allowed during employment
- able to meet grooming standards including visible tattoos and piercings limitations
- able to perform emergency and safety functions essential to ship operation
- positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure
Job Duties
- Provide guests with an elegant and memorable dining experience
- efficiently set up and break down breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktail hour including setting tables, arranging linen, silverware, china, and glassware
- cater to all culinary requests in an efficient manner
- acknowledge guests by name, escort them to their tables, present food and beverage menus, suggest particular courses and wines, and answer questions about menu items
- relay orders efficiently to the galley and serve courses and beverages with care, ensuring presentation and garnishing
- greet guests upon embarkation, serve afternoon teas and snacks, and cater evening entertainment as required
