Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is an advantage but not required

- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to serving

Job Duties
- Ensures guest satisfaction and promotes return visits by following the Eight Steps of Service
- Practices positive public relations through ensuring the restaurant is welcoming and inclusive
- Aware of guests' needs and works to make the experience pleasurable
- Shows enthusiasm and knowledge about new products and specials
- Promotes teamwork by assisting other servers
- Thoroughly understands product specifications and ensures guests' receipts match the number of guests dining
- Performs opening and closing procedures and side work duties
- Brings equipment and facility problems to the attention of the manager
- Familiar with correct table bussing procedures
- Follows safe work practices
- Performs duties with cleanliness and quality standards
- Follows local health department laws
